All Vets Club holding Veterans Day events on Nov. 11

The All Vets Club will hold activities on Veterans Day, which is Wednesday, Nov. 11, to honor all who have served. Veterans and the public are invited to attend the events. A freewill donation breakfast will be served by the Sertoma Club from 7:30-10 a.m. A freewill donation soup lunch will be served by the board of directors starting at 11 a.m. until it is gone. That will be followed by family bingo at noon. The Ladies Auxiliary will hold a bake sale from 8 a.m. to noon. At 5 p.m., a social starts with door prizes, and the Jamestown Drum and Bugle Corps will play at 5:30 p.m. A welcome and comments begins at 6 p.m., followed by a complimentary meal for veterans with a nominal fee for spouses and guests at 6:30 p.m. Service Dogs of America will present a short program on its services and work.
