JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Chamber) Chamber Ambassadors and staff from the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce recently presented the Customer Service Award for October to Dean Baty with Domino’s Pizza. Baty was nominated for showing kindness and patience during a difficult moment for a customer. The award recognizes people who go beyond normal service and help customers feel seen, respected, and cared for. The nomination stated: “I was having such a bad day and was simply ready to get my food and leave. After recently losing my husband, I could not find my card and was in tears. Suddenly, Dean paid for it. No questions asked. Then, on top of everything, he took the five minutes needed to make me smile. Such a kind soul. We truly need more people like this in the world.” The Chamber honors individuals who go above and beyond to provide service that not only meets expectations but makes a real difference for the customer.
