Park Bar and Lounge celebrates opening

The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and staff recently helped Park Bar and Lounge celebrate its opening with a ribbon cutting at 115 1st Ave. S. in downtown Jamestown. Park Bar and Lounge is owned by Jordan Koushkouski, who has a longtime family connection to the business. His grandfather operated Park Bar around the 1960s, and that history played a major role in Jordan Koushkouski s decision to purchase the property when it became available. Koushkouski and his team spent months cleaning, repairing and updating the space before reopening it. While much of the bar received a fresh look, Koushkouski also found ways to preserve pieces of its past. Old Park Bar drink tokens bearing his grandfather s name were incorporated into an addition to the bar, connecting the updated space with its history.
