JAMESTOWN — Sawyer Moser was the reason that Mya Wimer decided to coach the Jamestown High School swimming and diving team. "... She's amazing," Wimer said of Moser in a previous interview. "She's one of the girls I coached in PRO (Prairie Rose Swim Club) and one of the girls who I was like, I guess I could coach if all the girls are like Sawyer." Moser, an eighth grader at Jamestown Middle School, is a second-year swimmer for the Blue Jays. During her seventh grade year, she finished the season by making it to State in the 100-yard backstroke and swam a personal best time of 1 minute, 6.10 seconds. Moser started swimming when she was in second grade for Jamestown Jaws and later PRO with former Blue Jay head coach Ben Smith.
