A first-period power play goal by Ray Warrack stood up and Brandon Weare registered a shutout in goal as eighth-ranked Jamestown Jimmies ACHA Division 1 Men’s Hockey shut out 12th-ranked Midland Saturday 1-0 at John L. Wilson Arena. Warrack scored at 7:29 of the first period from Rylan Gage and Marcus Fritel for his fifth goal of the season for the Jimmies (7-3-0-0, 7-1-0-0 MCH). Weare made 17 saves for his first shutout this season and his 27th in his Jimmie career. Jamestown controlled the play, outshooting Midland 52-17. UJ will play UMary on Friday in Mandan in the first game of a back-to-back home series that will conclude Saturday at Wilson Arena. Photo credit: University of Jamestown Athletics
